Chapter 7- Complications

We contineud our hunt after the encounter with Jacob. I stuffed myself with two more grizzlies (yes, there is an awful lot of them down here.) I could tell why Emmett loved them so much! I wanted mountain lions, but Edward said we didn't have much time. I wondered what are we rushing for.I was the only one who hunted. I jumped everywhere. I was wild.

"I'm full up to here," Edward had said while poiting his finger at his marble forehead when I asked him why isn't he hunting. His eyes proved him right.

The hunt was fun and exhilirating but I wasn't really enjoyinh it much. My thoughts keep floating back to Jacob's look as he gazed upon my physique. He looked bemused, yet shocked. Anger was somewhere deep inside his dark eyes. I remembered how I lost control over myself and attacked Jacob- my bestfriend. Thank God I cancelled my action while I was in the air.  What was I thinking! Jumping on him like that! He was my bestfriend! No! He is still my bestfriend. And changing into a vampire won't change that. But Jacob- he didn't understand. The look he gave Edward, the way he stared, e was going to attack my husband if kept calm. My instincts told me that.

"What's bothering you, love?" Edward asked. is coice waking me from the slides of flashbacks.

"Jacob. Edward please. You've been delaying to answer my question for hours now. Tell me what he told you. I need to know!" e had been distracting me from the question since he knew about it. And he did a pretty good job.

"I don't know if you want to know, angel." He touched my chin, lifting it slightly.

"I demand to know! I do have the rights!" I growled. Wow, I've never been this fierce when I was human.

"Okay. Let us sit down first. Come here." He said, while gesturing to his lap.

He sat down on the grass, I sat down on his lap. His hands were slowly circling my waist, reaching for my hands that were fisted in front of me. He rested his chin on my shoulder. Then he breathed. His breath- oh the smell of it. It still makes me dizzy.

"Is it possible for a vampire to get high?"

"I dont think so. Why?"

"You just made me so." I haven't grown immune to his sweet sugary scent yet. My body relaxed as I inhaled it. I closed my eyes to savour the moment. "Now, my question."

"Yes. Of course. Bella, before I begin, you have to promise not to lose your temper. There isn't a soft guy here for you to land on." He smirked.

"I don't have a temper!" I half-hissed, half-growled.

"You just proved my point." He was right. I was becoming more of a hot-tempered person since I was changed. It's normal, Edward had always told me. "Okay Bells, how do I start." He paused. His lips were right next to my ear. His hands holding me tight. He let out his breath. "The situation's pretty complicated now. About your... transformation. The pack wasn't happy when he saw you. They weren't supposed to know."

"And?" I filled in his silence.

"And, they know. Jacob was right, I broke the treaty. What he told me using his mind though, was that he won't tell the elders. He trusted me. He trusted me that I could control you so that you won't bring harm. He trusted you, Bella." He sighed, again. "But Sam and Quil-"

"The two wolves that were with him." I interrupted.

"Yes, the other to wolves. They saw you too. He doesn't know if he can get them to shut up. Quil might be quiet. But Sam, he says he understands. He won't start a war, because we helped them in destroying Victoria and her little children. He trusts me too." my thoughts drifted to the red-haired feline featured vampire that wanted revenge over her mate. "But Sam, well, he's-"

"The alpha. He must tell." It was as if I could read Edward's mind.

"Yes. Or he'll get into trouble. The whole pack will. And that's a deep ocean of trouble he'll get himself into." Edward stopped. His hands were rubbing my arms gently. He could feel that I was shaking, with anger. I couldn't lose control now. I was with him. "It is my fault, you know."

"Why?"

"I did broke the treaty. A big part of it." His nose was trailing from the bottom of my neck up to my jaw.

"Isn't there-" I inhaled. "A gape somewhere-" I inhaled again. "where the treaty can give out-"

"Exceptions." Wow, we were getting good at this. "I'm afraid not. Well, at least, there wasn't any gapes. I don't know whether the pack will manage to convince the elders to you know-" he paused as he inhaled sharply on my throat.

"Make one." I whispered. All the problems seemed to fade away. What I could about now is my Edward. His hands were up to my shoulders now. Squeezing it. But then, Edward tensed. He inhaled sharply.

"What is it, Edward?" Maybe he smelled another animal coming by us. Maybe he smelled werewolves.

"You smell so good." He whispered. My non-beating heart relaxed, as if it was actually beating fast. His nose was near the cresent shaped scar where he bit me.

"Did I tasted as good?" I surprised myself. I have totally forgotten to ask the most important question of my life!

"Better. Better than I could have ever imagined, love. I couldn't enjoy it much though. You were in pain. But your blood, it was so... so... -" He was thinking of a word to describe it. "woah." Not very creative. I giggled girlishly. He kissed my neck. He kissed from the bottom of my neck, near my chest and he kissed around my neck until every part of it is kissed. He burried his face under my chin. His breath getting heavier by the second. His hands now knotted in my hair. My hands were behind me, trying to find his hair. Trying. Trying- yes, I found it.

I closed my eyes as he enjoyed feasting on my neck. His hands were back on shoulders.

"Turn around." He whispered. His eyes were half-closed now.

I did as he said and seconds later he was on top of me, kissing me violently like he never did before. I kissed him back, the same way. He had put all his weight onto his arms so I wouldn't get squished by his body when all I wanted to feel right now was his body melting into mine. I shifted my body as now I was on top of him. Not even bothering to shift my weight. I wanted him as close as he could be. I wanted him. I wanted my husband so much.

I stopped kissing him for a while- pausing for air I didn't need. As he said, it was habit. He smiled my favorite crooked smile and pulled me closer than ever. And who would have guessed what we did next- we kissed again. I liquefied inside.

After a while- wich must have been hours, we got up and straightened ourselves. He looked perfect. Even after rolling in the grass for a few hours. I went to put my arms around him.

"I love you." I said.

"I love you too. Understatement of the year." He rested his cheek on top of my head. "I guess we better head back now, angel. We need to tell the others about Jacob and his friends."

"Jacob-Shmacob. But I guess you're right. We should." As I was starting to run, Edward ran past me and slung me over his shoulder. It was all very fast. I didnt have time to protest.

At last, we were in front of the the big white house. It looks more like a artist's house than a vampire's- seven vampires. Now eight.

As soon as we were inside, Alice hugged me tight. "I missed you!" she squealed. If it wasn't for her expression, I would have mistaken her enthusiasm for something worst. Like covering something up. But she wasn't. She really missed me.

"Um... Why?" I asked. It sounded rude.

"No-thing." She said, her hands behind her back. She looked like a little girl that's guilty of something.

"Aliiicee..."

"Okay-okay. I bought you more nighties." She raised her hands. I guessed I snarled, which brings her to her next reaction. "Oops. Forgot aout your temper. Sorry!" She kissed my cheek and ran upstairs. She is really cute.

"Alice, come back down! We need to talk! Go get Emmett and Rose!" Edward yelled.

Esme and Carlisle emerged from the kitchen - I wonder what did they have a kitchen for. Jasper turned his attention from the magazine he was reading towards us. Alice came down with Rosalie and Emmett.

"This better be important." Emmett asked.

"It is. Everyone sit down first." We all sat down on the living room couches. "Ahem. Firstly, I want everyone to calm down. Especially you, Bella." I snarled. Esme put her arms around my shoulders. "Okay-"

"Begin already!" Emmett interrupted. This was going to be more funny than scary.

Edward hissed at Emmett's rudeness. "The pack knows." Everybody went dead silent.

"Oh my god." Rosalie said.

"Yes, Rosalie, the perfect response." Alice giggled as Edward said that.

"What are we going to do?" Sensible Carlisle asked.

"Well, I've already talked to Jacob, technically, we came across them in the woods."

"And?" Emmett was getting impatient.

"And he said he trusts us. Actually, I read his mind. Their leader, Sam, also trusts us. It's just the problem with the elders."

"We did broke the treaty, though." Jasper spoke for the first time.

"We didn't. He did." Rosalie said accusingly.

"Be nice Rosalie." Esme scolded. Rosalie grimaced.

"Well, yeah. I did broke the treaty. But that's the thing. Jacob said he'll try talking some sense into the elders about-" he coughed. "Destroying us."

Everybody in the room gasped. It was almost as if we were in a movie. Sitcom, to be more precise.

"He told me, that as long as Bella didn't hurt anybody, and that she forced me to hurt her, it doesn't really count. But that's what Jacob thought. The elders though- I don't know."

"We need to discuss this with them." Carlisle pointed out.

"Yes we do." Edward replied.

Everybody went silent for a few minutes. This was serious. I couldn't believe myself for finding it funny at first. "Alice..." Edward muttered.

Everybody turned to her. She tensed. "They're coming. Tomorrow. They didn't look angry. I think. Jacob really loves Bella, if he's ready to cooperate with vampires, for the second time."

"He really does." Edward said.

I sighed. "Enough about me! What are they going to say? Or do?"

Alice hesitated for a while.

"The elders are mad."
Har Har Har. Oh my god. What's gonna happen? Jacob is sweet, saying he trusts Edward and all. *sigh* Bella is one lucky vampire. She Must Die. Hehe.. Look out for the next chapter!!

Disclaimer: People, I don't own Edward or Bella or Alice or Jacob or anyone else in my stories. They are owned (fully) by Stephenie Meyer. She also owns Twilight Newmoon and Eclipse. I so envy her.
Anddd... Please forgive all of my past/present tense mistakes. I hate thinking too much about tenses because it'll stop my idea flow. Thankyou.
